Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. Listening to Christian’s testimonies. Many people followed Jesus when they saw Him healing people.
3. Praying and fasting.
Jesus accused the disciples of lacking faith and being a perversed generation when they couldn’t cast out a demon. The solution was prayer and fasting.
Matthew 17:19-21 MEV
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast him out?" [20] Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you. [21] But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
4. Choose to believe, even when you don’t see.
Hebrews 11:1-2 MEV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the men of old obtained a good report.
1 John 5:14-15 MEV
This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. [15] So if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have whatever we asked of Him.
Romans 4:17 MEV
(as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") before God whom he believed, and who raises the dead, and calls those things that do not exist as though they did.
5. Don’t be suprised when your faith is tested.
1 Peter 4:12-13 MEV
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though some strange thing happened to you. [13] But rejoice insofar as you share in Christ's sufferings, so that you may rejoice and be glad also in the revelation of His glory.
1 Peter 1:6-9 MEV
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now, if for a little while, you have had to suffer various trials, [7] in order that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tried by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ, [8] whom, having not seen, you love; and in whom, though you do not see Him now, you believe and you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, [9] receiving as the result of your faith the salvation of your souls.
The righteous live by faith.
Romans 1:17 MEV
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
