I’m passionate about following God and helping people reach their destiny.
Book of Life
Everything God planned for us is written in the book of life. We must navigate it with the Holy Spirit’s help for it to happen. It is all the good things that God planned ahead of time.
“You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.” Psalms 139:16 TPT
Psalm 21
I believe Psalm 21 is a prayer/conversation model for us. King David had an intimate relationship with God. He shared all his ups and downs with his best friend. (Everywhere it says king, put yourself there and pray it through daily.)
“The king rejoices in your strength, Lord. How great is his joy in the victories you give! You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. You came to greet him with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked you for life, and you gave it to him— length of days, for ever and ever. Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty. Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken. Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies; your right hand will seize your foes. When you appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and his fire will consume them. You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind. Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. You will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow. Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might.” Psalm 21:1-13
Misconceptions
I feel people get easily mislead by certain things. If you watch/read the news here in South Africa you hear negative things all the time. You hear how weak the rand is or how expensive medical aid will become or about people sadly losing their lives. It’s all real, but sad and depressing news. Use the news as an opportunity to pray instead of expecting the worst. Pray and decree financial stability, that our leaders will know God, for the safety of all our people. Pray and decree peace over our country.
Be Bold
Boldness (confidence/courage) can be defined as the willingness to take risks and act innovatively. Christians should be known for their boldness. Scripture says we can do all things through Him that gives us strength. Phil 4:13
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1 NIV
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6 KJV
Surrender
To surrender means to stop resisting and to submit to God’s authority. You stop living a life where your selfish needs come first and start following God’s plans for your life. Through your process of surrendering to God you will find your destiny and purpose on Earth. In order to surrender we need to let go of some things and embrace the new things that come on our path.
“‘Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.’” Luke 22:42 NIV
Perseverance
It can be defined as persisting in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. To persevere you need an attitude of nothing and nobody is going to stop you. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4:13 God created us to persevere with His help. God planned in advance that He would lovingly create humans that interact with Him and He made laws to keep us safe from harm. When hardships come it is to purify us and make us even more dependant on Him.
Faith
Faith is believing for things you cannot see.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Hebrews 11 is the faith chapter in the Bible. It’s a summary of miracles that people received by having faith in God. It speaks about the Red Sea that parted for the Israelites, 100 year old Sarah giving birth to baby Isaac, Noah’s ark, kingdoms that were conquered, lions’s mouths were closed, healing miracles and even people being raised from the dead.
