Who is ruling?

- 2 minutes read - 312 wordsWe see 4 instances in the New Testament where God allows the enemy to rule. The two 3,5 year periods during the tribulation and again a short period after the 1000 year Messianic Age. The enemy will assemble troops to fight against King Jesus and His followers. We already know the outcome: Jesus wins at Armageddon. The enemy can also rule in the live’s of non-believers.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 TPT
Even if our gospel message is veiled, it is only veiled to those who are perishing, [4] for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the divine image of God.
Christians are called to rule and reign over the enemy like Jesus did. The Lord’s Prayer makes it clear that His Kingdom must come to earth. Christians taking authority over sin, sickness, demonic interference and lack, will cause His Kingdom to grow. You are called to rule over the enemy.
Matthew 6:9-10,13 KJV
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.Luke 10:19 KJV
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.Luke 10:19 TPT
Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority.
